Wha so hard to believe? It's been done time and again. There are many stock sleeved D16's making over 400 and a good bit making over 500. This is just the next level!

Your US measured WHP numbers would be CRANK HP measured here in the best case.

There are definitely "happy" dynos and "happy" dyno sheets that are floated around. There were alot of scum bags a few years ago that made it their (shady) business model because people loved dyno charts. Still makes me sick to this day. I'll still fucking destroy them, they know who they are.

There is a Grand Canyon even between your good numbers and our numbers.

There is a new place equipped with DynoDynamics 450DS. I do not know how does it read according to U, but I plan to compare the Maha dyno result against it. It might answer whether my theory is OK or not.

What I can tell everyone about Speedfactory is they dont lie about their numbers. Last year the car made 471whp and went 10.4 with their race geared trans. Their last outing with open diff stock trans and horrible track conditions , they went 10.5 . They plan on putting in the race trans in it and going to a better track to try and get that 9 second time slip. One thing I know about these guys is they take great pride in the work that they do. they dont "Fluff" anything they do at all.

Rocket- I think I know exactly who you are talking about.. Its a place where many people go to worship on Sundays. lol

Cmon, now. That dyno in particular does indicate high but I have always thought highly of them because the cars they tune seem to run really well.

There are several names I can think of that are very shady, especially when one person in particular digitized a RLZ head.

I'm going to try to be more active over here. If anybody has any questions/etc. let me know.

The dyno #'s aren't "fluffed", they are what they are. Whether you think they are BS or not, one thing is certain...

The car went 10.4 @ 138-139mph last year at 2300lbs making 471whp on this same dyno. It just laid down +138whp more than last year. I think it's safe to say it'll go just a little tiny bit faster now!!

138-139 mph in a 2300lb car takes good power.

There we're scum bags claiming surpreme NA power but their track cars only 12s at 103 - 104, lol.

Jame's dyno is accurate.

You're taking the wrong tone towards the guy who may be the most humble and honest Honda tuner on the planet. James is the sort of guy who is always leaning towards understateing than overstating, and he goes to the track and runs the numbers to back up everything.

A lot of things in this business are fishy and skewed, but this is not one of them.

I remember when he had just made some mid-low 10 second passes at an event, and he had some oil contamination problems that lead to loosing ring seal. We tore the engine down in the car at the track to make a ghetto fix to compete the next day. You wouldn't believe the shock on every persons face that walked by while we worked to ghetto-hone and re-build the engine. People would look at the block and say " WTF? are those stock sleeves???" Then look at the cylinder head sitting there, and go "WTF? stock D16Z6 head? stock valves, stock ports, stock runners? WTF?" A few folks noticed the turbo was an el-cheapo ebay special. There was a ton of doubters that shut there mouth at that event. I didn't get much sleep, but it was an awesome event (though I think i have hearing damage from driving my open header K-eg back from Oregon...lol). James is the real deal.

-Luke

Also, James' previous 473whp stock sleeves/vitara build lasted at least a hundred dyno pulls and at least a hundred passes down the track. Doing a lot with a little is a sign of having some serious skills. Smoking sleeved turbo B20v's at the track with very low budget D16Z6 is priceless.
