I havent gone in almost 2 years but I did autox for 5 years before then. My cammed b16 sucks soo bad at the tight courses in my region. Nothing like running through 95% of the course on the low cam.

Current setup:

91 civic std
b16 w/ bc3+ cams
tokico illuminas w/ gc coils 450fr/525r
hf front sway, st rear
205/50 kumho xs on enkei rpf1's

Im hoping to get out there at least once this season. Which region do you usually run with? When i went it was with Philly but have gone to NNJ and Susq before.

I got my start in autocross, but gave it up in favor of head to head racing and time trials. More track time and nothing like racing some guy down the straight and outbraking him into the corner.

Autox is definitely hard to go back to once you've been on a road course. {drooling}

No pro-solo events in my area yet.
I don't like to stray too far from home base without a trailer. One of the local events is held at an airport and has a few great straight sections that get going decently fast. I actually participate in about anything within a reasonable radius.

Its a slayer alblum cover on the helmet.

Slayer FTMFW

Located in central pa. The farthest I like to stray is about 2 hours. Any more than that I cannot imagine the tow bill.

I need AAA

I tried it twice a few years ago and loved it. My work schedule never aligns with auto slalom events here so I havent bothered paying club fees in the last two years.

One day I will be a racer.

My absolute best advise is to pair up with someone and work together insted of compete.

A person sitting in the passenger seat will pick up on a lot of things you miss while driving

Yeah, I may try that my friend used to work for skip barber and he's a lot better driver then I am so I might try riding in his car for a event and study what he does then have him do the same for me

Started during my senior year in 05. Did every event I could that year and a handful events the next year. Ran in Novice, beat every Honda I ran against (any class) in raw times except a s/c S2000. Thinking about returning this year but DE's are so much more fun. Farthest I've traveled so far for a DE is 1,017 miles. No trailer. Be a man lol.

96 DX hatch
CTR brakes/suspension, no sways
15x6.5 Slipstreams 205/50/15 215 Azenis
D16Y7, stock (added SMSP big tube open header in 06)
Y7 trans (stock for all but the last 05 event)
SRR 4.71 FD, DOHC ZC 3rd, stock 1.172 3rd as 4th (last 05 event and most of 06)
Y8 trans with SRR 4.71 FD for last 2 events in 06

If I run next year I'll be on some sort of Z6 engine, Y8 trans with MFactory close gear set and LSD, and some type of suspension. Not going to build it to fit into any class so I plan on getting my ass kicked.

I road race in the Honda Challenge if that counts.

My setup is very very different than most cone heads I have talked to though,so it may not help.I am willing to give any assitance I can however if you need.

How do you like the Pro C's?

i have them on my integra i have no big complaints wish they where a tad stiffer, and didnt stick where u thread to adjust height , and one more little thing is i wish the bolts where a bit longer on the top hats in the rear so i can put a upper rear tie bar on it .. the one i have is to thick to have enought thread to grab the bolts other then that there great so far had em about a year

I went against my own advice and bought these coilovers on h-t last week-->http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2692801 Autox rates.

I realized that I don't really need an expensive setup for the little autox and trackdays that I go to anymore. They should work fine. I have some stiffer spring that I'll throw on the front. Besides, I think Im done spending good money on my hatch.

I love my pro-c's. Skunk was verry helpfull when I had questions and helped me out a lot. They have different spring rates available if your looking for something stiffer.

Email tonys@skunk2.com and he should be able to help you out with springs
