Tail lights work, but brake lights do not

Ok so last night, as im driving to school for some reason my brake lights stopped working, and my "door ajar" light comes on when i hit the brakes.
Put new bulbs in, all around, cause i needed to anyways, and as i figured, that didnt work....Checked fuses, all are straight. Checked the brake light switch, and it was plugged in....
So im stummped, any help?{others}

That's a sick crx..what was the problom a fuse on the fuse box on the engine bay?

ha yep i felt stupid, cause it took me all day to figure it out, cause i forgot about that damn fuse....
I have the whole harness in the back torn apart still though, it was messsssy
The reverse lights were all butt connected together and shit, so im gonna finish wrapping that shit up tommorow....it all needed to be fixed anyways....

Lol same exact thing happen to me but I haven't raped up my brake light wires yet lol..the reason for the fuse to go out on me cuz I think the horn plug on the engine bay taped the chassie and short circut it
