well today i put my GSR center console in. its fits pretty good. took a little drilling and work but it came out ok. i still need to make some brackets to properly mount the arm rest, seeing as how it is just sitting there. i also got a new header. but i will be trading it to one of my team members for the same one with a 2.5 collector. now for pics.

the wireing in the ed is smoked. im haveing electrical problems that cuased me to park it. it has no running lights or dash lights and no it is not a fuse. its doing a few other strange things as well. plus sat when i went to change the o ring on the dizzy i went to unclip one of the harnesses and the fucking thing crumbled in my hand. yes fell apart. so i had to wire another one. to replace all the wireing from front to back is going to cost me 950. plus hours and hours of labor. but i guess what can you expect from a car that is almost 20 years old.

the clock goes bright then dim randomly. the dome light doesnt work.(its always not worked) the radio wont come on sometimes. i think the wireing is just done.

actually brent i havent had time to even go through it yet. so far i just checked the fuses. but like i said mutiple problems have been accurring. plus the whole harnees incedent. time to replace the wireing regardless. i am keeoing the car so i pretty much have no choice but to do it unless i want to fight electrical problems constantly.

i say that because justins new ed had dim lights, it would turn over, but when all grounds were connected the lights were bright, and it ran...maybe a bad ground on the under dash fusebox, or under hood fusebox ground, or tranny ground, or upper ground.
just a thought, might not need a whole new harness.

sorry to hear, electrical problems suck!
usually difficult to fix.
does sound like a bad ground, though.

Hmm,
First, Check the gound from the battery to the chassis(under the battery) to the transmission, and the one from the engine to the valve cover.I dont think the harness is bad. Just like the car I bought recently, its gotta be something small and easy.

About the plug breaking, Get another Si engine Harness and try that. The car harness has to be fine and the engine one is easy to swap out.I may have mine out soon. Im going OBD1 from rywire.

Chris - consider gettin an obd1 conversion engine harness from rywire. Then you have the thicker newer grey plugs for the engine bay*.Also,This will let you run obd1 ecu conversion and give you more tuning capabilities.{respect}

* notice how 92 and up Hondas use the thicker Grey plugs. I wonder why..well I am sure you noticed 90-93 DA and 88-91 ED have thin fragile white plugs(which were failing after just a few years) and after 19 years of engine heat the harness and plugs fatigue...you get the idea.The grey plugs are much more durable. The car Harness , being inside, usually is well protected and should have no issues.
