injector clips...wtf?!

i have a set of rc 440's. i was under the impression that rc's were only made obd1.

i have an obd1 harness/injector clips and they wont connect to the injectors due to an extra ridge on the inside of the connector on the injectors.

ive used these before, and could have sworn it was with obd1 clips, but now im guessing that they were obd2?

can i just sand off the extra ridge in there or what? this is the last thing keeping me from starting my car now dammit.

am i just doing something stupid wrong?

cut the ridge out. thats what ive always done. its just a little peice of plastic. wont hurt anything.

well at first sight i was gonna cut it with the dremel but now it looks to be too small an area for the dremel and thoughts?
