as stated in title. so far i know both intake manifolds belong to the b18 ls engines: pr4 for the a1, p75 for the b2. the jdm version of the p75 is also used with the mythical p8r head. last yr i bought a p75 im for dirt cheap. i put it side to a pr4 im and even when i ocd eyeballed it, i see no differences between them. then why everyone and their mother recommend ditching the pr4 for the p75? is there a difference that scapes my eyes?

they're no different. The PR4 usually came on the older B18A1 and the first 3-4 years of the B1. The P75 also I believe came in on the 96-2001 LS integras. The only difference between a PR4 a1 and a PR4 b1 would be the throttle body. the A1 is so Small compared to the B1. =P.
